The Ski Station of Panticosa-Los Lagos is located in Panticosa, in the Valley of Tena in the province of Huesca, in the heart of the Pyrennees. The highest point of the resort is Valle de Sabocos, which is more tha 2,000 metres above sea level. In this ski station you will find all kinds of services required for activities related to snow and adventure; restaurants, equipment hire, skiing lessonds, and of course a health clinic and rescue service. You will also find a huge range of accommodation options including apartments, hotels and rural houses.
In Panticosa there are more than thirty ski slopes, covering over 30 kilometres of skiable terrain, ski lifts, snow cannons and a snowy pistes from 2,200 metres above sea level, down to 1,500 metres. The slopes are reached directly fromt he town with a chairlift.
Panticosa is one of the longest standing ski resorts in the Aragonese Pyrennees. It was founded in the 1970s, and in the last decade the facilities have been extended to the Valle de Sabocos.
In coming years it is forseen that further developments will be carried out, with new slopes, new restaurants, chair lifts and snow machines, as well as new access roads and parking zones. |
